Is the Mockup plugin free?
It's free to install. The full library in the plugin comes with Pro, together with the online editors, Live and 3d Studio.
How do I make an iPhone mockup in Figma?
Select your frame, open the plugin, search “iPhone” and click a mockup. The render is pasted next to your frame.
Can I make 3D mockups in Figma?
Yes. Live mode gives you an interactive 3D device you can rotate and zoom, then export as an image or a video.
Can I create animated or video mockups?
Yes. 3d Studio animates the camera and the device on a keyframe timeline and exports MP4 or WebM back to your canvas.
Do I have to export and re-upload files?
No. The plugin takes the selected frame straight from Figma and pastes the render back. No downloads, no re-uploads.
What resolution are the mockups?
Up to 6K. Your design is sent from Figma at 4096 px on its long edge.
Can I edit a mockup later?
Yes. Select the pasted mockup and click Mockup in the right panel. 3D and animated scenes open where you left them.
Does it work on the free Figma plan?
Yes. The plugin works on any Figma plan, including free.
